According
to the Australian Curriculum Mathematics (Year 2, ACMMG045 and ACMMG046),
students must create new shapes by joining equilateral triangles and trying up
to a minimum of five combinations. Also, they must find a variety of a minimum
of four squares and create a combination of two minimum rectangles. The
students must practice different patterns with a combination of shapes;
practice rotating the body by quarter, half, three by fourth, and flipping.
The
shape tool can create any geometric form conceivable. Using this tool, the
student can colour, expand, resize, rotate, reflect, cut, and glue squares,
triangles, rhombi, trapezoids, and hexagons. After constructing new patterns,
click on the printer icon and give your name, then print or save the result in
PDF format and send it to palc1498@gmail.com.Please share your findings in the
comments. If necessary, parents or guardians may assist you with typing.
Note:
On the top left side of the Shape tool, you can see the Toolbar, and on the top
right of the “Shape Tool,” you can see the printer icon. Each tool’s activity
instructions and functions are explained in the activity window, and please
follow the “activity” instructions.
Please
start the “Shape Tool” below and create your patch using the shapes.
If the “Shape Tool” is not functioning, please click on the blue-coloured title below to start it.
