According to the Australian Curriculum Mathematics (Year 1, ACMMG022), Finding 2D shapes in 3D objects requires pupils to recognize the 2D shapes that make a 3D object’s composition. The “Finding faces 1” makes the best guess as to the number of sides the 3D object possesses. You will have to rotate it to view all of its different faces. Paint each side of a given shape, like a triangle or a rectangle, and then you can see 2D shapes in 3D shapes. Please play the game “Finding faces of shapes” and find and paint the faces of shapes. Please share your findings in the comments. If necessary, parents or guardians may assist you with typing.

Note: On the top left of the game (Finding faces 1), you can see the “Show me” menu, and when you click it, you can watch and read the instructions on how to play it.
